Tolmachevy Sisters
Anastasiya and Maria Andreyevna Tolmachevy (Анастасия и Мария Андреевна Толмачёвы, born 14 January 1997) are twins, singers, actresses, and former child singers from the Russian city of Kursk. Aged nine, they won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Bucharest, Romania, with their song ''Vesenniy Jazz'' (Literal: Spring Jazz, Cyrillic: Весенний Джаз).〔(Russia - JESC www-origin.junioreurovision.tv 2007 )〕 Eight years later, they were chosen to represent Russia at Eurovision 2014.〔[http://www.vesti.ru/news.html?id=104016 Вести.Ru: новости, видео [и фото дня]〕
The twins released an album called Polovinki in 2007, and have appeared in a made-for-TV movie in Russia.

Maria Andreyevna and Anastasiya Andreyevna Tolmachevy were born on January 14, 1997 in Kursk, Russia. They are the eldest of three children and they have one younger sister. Their first mentor in singing was their mother who is a music teacher.
